I have a customer who will not pay for the service and run away. I dragged him back into the store and demand the money. Customer fight with me and pulled my glasses off my face. I hold the customer's neck against the wall so the customer cannot run away. Everything was over and the customer called the police to press charges that I assault him. What is the legal status.

Ya, you assaulted him, but why don't you press charges for theft, and assault yourself. In order to pull your glasses from your face, he would have to grab at your face. If he touched your face at all, this is assault. Get a good lawyer, and have his *** arrested.

Yes it is considered assult. You could also be charged with unlawfull detention when you held his neck against the wall so he could not run away.

In this situation you cannot touch a person even if you just put your hand on their arm or shoulder.

This is assault. If you would have apprehended him before he left the store it would not have been. It would have been a citizens arrest for shoplifting.

I agree that you assulted him, however if he was attempting to steal from you I beleive that you were justified in using force to detain him.
