due nov 9 and back keeps locking up when i bend over to pick up something.its like if i was having contractions in my stomach.

No, infact most of the time it happens well into dialation.. (like 4 centemeters and after.)

I lost mine with the first. NOT with the second but I did with the third.
If you are having contractions on a regular basis some form of a pattern you mat want to call your OB/GYN. Your back pain could be the begging of back labor I had that all three pregnancys.

Yes. Mucus Plug is called Show. This is because the cervical OS needs to open for dilatation to start taking place in the cervix

Some people don't even lose their mucus plug until their water breaks. Even then, it can still be a while before you're fully effaced and 10cm dilated.

NO, I lost mine after being 2 cm and 80% effaced, this was a week ago and I still have not went into labor...

Not at all. I was dialated 3cm before mine came out.

with all FOUR pregnancies i NEVER lost mine. it just came out right before the baby crowned. and it was unnoticable. i asked the nurse and she said, its not rare at all. it happens alot. so i never had that experience of losing it at home.
