♥Maybe this shouldn't be asked here, but it's my territory, my favorite category, and I'm tired of people thinking I need to be perfectly cordial, perfectly politically correct, a perfect example. God sees me perfectly the way I am, and He loves me anyway. I am not a great example all the time, and I grow every day, I am a Work in Progress.....I love purely, I try to make people laugh, I try to make people think, I try to be real, which is what I believe God wants. He wants me Real. What about you? If it's not your belief, well then that's okay too.

The sad thing is, once you say you are a Christian everyone watches you and waits for you to make a mistake. They'll throw it up in your face by saying things like, "I thought you were a Christian", or "If that's what being a Christian is I don't want any part of it". Jesus was taunted, rejected, and eventually crucified on Earth, and He is the Son of God. Those of us who make an effort to follow his example cannot be expected to be treated much better. Keep your chin up girl and be strong in His love for you.

God doesn't do a brain wipe at the moment of conversion. If you were a crabby person before, odds are you'll be a crabby Christian. But He'll work on you slowly. That's the only real case of evolution you are ever going to find. Slowly changing to be more like Christ, but you will always be you.
None of those people are perfect either. Explain it nicely and move on. Don't let it make you crazy.

Nope.
I think the best a real Christian can do is try to be square with what the Bible teaches. Nobody can reasonably ask for or expect more than that. And I kinda like people who try, even when they get it wrong; a mistake is proof only that somebody tried even if they didn't get it quite right.
I actually like and admire proper Christians.
Though I am a devout heathen LOL
I belong to the belief system my father belonged to. And I'm happy enough to live that way. But I think we can all live in peace if we remind ourselves to respect the boundaries people set about themselves.

Has anyone ever met a person that calls them self a Christian to everyone? Have you ever met anyone less perfect than taht.
I feel bad for people who beleive in Christianity that unfortunately share the stereotype of the CHristians you see on tv talking about gay marriage, and war, etc.
I don't beleive there is anyone more evil in this world, than the vocal radical Christians. I believ I am a CHristaian (an imperfect one), but I am more scared by evagelical Christians (Bill Frist, Santorum, Bush, Falwell, robertson, reed, SHaffley) than I am by al quida. And I think that these loudmouths are more dangerous than saddam and osama

Of course you are right. Why would we need God at all if we were already perfect? A work in progress is exactly what we all are. Some have progressed much further than others, with God's help.

HECK NO!! I'm Catholic and I can't stand fundamental Christians who think just because they believe in Jesus then they will be saved--no matter what bad karma they build up during their life. I try and do right by people because I believe I will be judged by God at the hour of my death no matter what my beliefs are.
No one is perfect though. We all make mistakes and we are all a work in progress.

The hardest thing in the world is to be a Christian. There is no such thing as a perfect Christian. You can strive towards perfection with the help of Jesus, but you will never reach it. Live your life with Jesus as your mentor and all will be well. Remember, you are living for Jesus, not people. Go well, and God Bless you and keep you.

No I don't think they are automatically perfect I think we are just following or trying to follow what he has planned for us. Nobody is going to be perfect and as soon as people realize this the better off the world is going to be.
I still like your questions.
