I think on paper the franchises don't think Arkansas is a safe bet. They need to spend time in Arkansas to realize the overwhelming majority of Arkansans support their Hogs. What we lack in numbers, we make up for in heart and loyalty. If they saw that, they would change their minds.

Go Hogs! Beat Bama!

Not enough local support to fund one and no one from the outside thinks there is a large enough TV Market to support a professional football team. Heck - we in the Metro Providence with over 1.6 million people have to share our team with Metro Boston that has over 5 million people - that's why they are called the New England Patriots after all so neither city can claim them. Gillette Stadium is nearly equal distance (being in Foxboro) from both city centers.

because it would take better than 1/2 the citizens of Little Rock (the largest city in Arkansas) to fill a stadium, and just filling the stadium isnt enough to support a NFL franchise.

it rather is a undeniable actuality that Bears followers are actual in the closet Packers followers. So, they are out. The Cubs have an insane following, so i'm score them #a million. accompanied by using the Bulls, White Sox, then Blackhawks. actual however, i could positioned the Bears at #a million or #2 on that checklist of communities enjoyed by using Chicagoans.

Arkansas does have some big cities, but not big enough to fund and keep an NFL franchise.
