Sorry, morons, I'm talking about the REAL definition as in - WHO and WHAT are the NEO-CONS? (Hint: they are NOT the people you keep referring to as neo-cons; does THAT help your little brains to get what I'm asking?)

For those of you too simple to get it I'm asking because the term neo-con is used WAAAAYYY too broadly. I'm just wondering if the wack-jobs that keep using the term have any idea who the REAL NEO-CONS actually are.

If they do, I'm gonna fall off my chair. Of course, I'll be LMAO - but, then, that's another story!

P.S. I asked this question a couple of nights ago and got ten answers in the form of:

- One legitimate answer trying to answer the question (wrongly, as it turned out) and
- Nine "answers" from the morons.

Needless to say, I was shocked, just shocked!

Does anyone KNOW what a Neo-Con is?

If not, I'll post the answer for you nutjobs in the form of a "question".

Historically, neoconservatives supported a militant anticommunism, tolerated more social welfare spending than was sometimes acceptable to libertarians and mainstream conservatives, supported civil equality for blacks and other minorities, and sympathized with a non-traditional foreign policy agenda that was less deferential to traditional conceptions of diplomacy and international law and less inclined to compromise principles even if that meant unilateral action.

Indeed, domestic policy does not define neoconservatism — it is a movement founded on, and perpetuated by an aggressive approach to foreign policy, free trade, opposition to communism during the Cold War, support for Israel and Taiwan and opposition to Middle Eastern and other states that are perceived to support terrorism.

An intellectual and political movement in favor of political, economic, and social conservatism that arose in opposition to the perceived liberalism of the 1960s: "The neo-conservatism of the 1980s is a replay of the New Conservatism of the 1950s, which was itself a replay of the New Era philosophy of the 1920s" (Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr.).

So your question is a deciet because the meaning of Neo con has fluctuated over the decades and in no way resembles any of the other definitions. Just as 40 years ago GAY meant happy. So you are full of it when you insult others for their definitions.

Many of these people who bash Neo-Cons are just foreigners who hate the USA.
They just copy after what the liberals say.
It's just a little hate-fest.

A neo con as I understand it is a new type of conservative. They have no tolerance for other opinions or views. Just like their leader GWB it's"my way or the highway". They are young and very opinionated.

I never use the term and equally never respond to askers who use the term. Primary reason: I have no idea what it means, but it sounds like a brainless sore-loser put-down (as in: waaah! my candidate didn't get elected!!).

So, I am, indeed, eager to know what a neo-con is. Thanks for posting.
