I like Syd Barret-era Floyd, and I am usually in a mellow and receptive frame of mind when I listen. However, "The Wall" is a whining collection of misogynistic, self-pitying, indulgent tripe and this is the kind of thing that activates the combat software in my head.

I used to listen to them when i wanted to get stoned. Now I listen to them to bring back memories. There is a planetarium here that has a laser light show set to Pink Floyd's "the Wall" it's great

I usually have to get high before listening to Floyd. And then it's in a dark room with headphones on.

I just dig Pink Floyd. Plain and simple. I don't think I'm ever in any particular mood.
