That is called an ectopic pregnancy and the only thing that can be done is if it's very early, an injection can be given to dissolve the egg. If not, they may try to clean out the tube but usually the tube needs to be removed and the abdomen needs to be cleaned out if the tube ruptures. There is no possibility of continuing the pregnancy.

I just had a patient yesterday who had a tubal pregnancy that ruptured, she didn't know she was pregnant. She lost her left tube but recovered nicely.
