i really want to know. i've always found that interesting or "special" people work on their own improvement and are in fact extremely humble and modest. so what about the other type?

They get the personal satisfaction of having
succeeded in getting revenge on someone or
thing that they think has harmed or slighted them in some way. Backstabbing does have a way of at times backfiring though.
It is a rather interesting phenomenon, yes.
Just think of the Caesars, backstabbing, literally.

I think back stabbers usually need to elevate themselves and therefore they demean others to give themselves the illusion of being better. This means that they are coming from a place of low self-worth which is always a dangerous place. So seek out the nice people of this world - there are many of them - and always tell your kids how wonderful you think they are.

they get nothing from it but the fact they did and got away with it i say they all need to go to he!!
