Did you end up breaking up or staying together? My boyfriend recently cheated on me. After a month, we got back together. I decided to take him back because I really love him and he said it was the biggest mistake he's ever made. I was just wondering what other people have done in my situation.

the phrase "forgive and forget" is so wrong.. you may forgive, but he has now broken your trust!i was cheated on and like you i forgave him, it took a little while longer than id liked to trust him again, but if you love him enough and truly believe he has changed, it can only get better.

My ex-husband cheated on me and I took him back and it was the biggest mistake of my life now we are divorced just never could trust him again.

I cheated and never got "caught," but karma still got me. The next week my boyfriend left the state and the next month my lover went back to his ex.

I could never let it go so I broke up.
I also think its a bad thing to let people get away with that it only shows them what they can do and be forgiven. Once a cheater always a cheater

I believe in second chances, but do you still trust him?? Trust is a must in a relationship. If you can handle it and you trust him, give him a second chance, but the minute you don't, get out.
