A galaxy is far bigger than the solar system . A solar system consists of a star with its surrouding planets. A galaxy is made up of several millions stars, some times more than billions. Our solar system in which the earth is a planet has the sun a star at the centre . The sun is one of the millions of stars in the Milky way galaxy.

A galaxy is bigger. A solar system only contians planets, meteors, moons, and asteroid Belts. which are all held in place by a stars Gravity. A Galaxy contains many Hundreds or even billions of these Solar Systems and all they contain.
