Honestly, a good friend wouldn't do this to her close friends. I have had a crush on a boy my friend liked also, but i never told her becuase i really didn't want to hurt her. If you really care about your friend, and your relationship with her, then don't tell her. I know it may not seem like good advice, but if your friend likes him more and really wants something serious with him, and the fact that she's falling apart too, she NEEDS him. If you tell her you like him too, she may look at you as a back-stabber, and hat would be worse then losing her. Just move on and try to find someone new and hopefully better to crush on.

Do either of you really have him? Let him decide, who he wants for a girlfriend or not. Is a Guy worth your friendship? There are a lot of likes and dislikes that best friends have. Maybe you really like him because you both have the same tastes in guys. If she has a harder time getting a guy, and he likes her, then be a friend and step aside.

Whoa....some friend. "She isn't exactly pretty but she's really nice and caring". Newsflash: Good personality traits matter more than looks. Who cares if she isn't all that pretty. You can be pretty and yet so vain and ugly inside. Sounds like your friend deserves a nice guy. And you need to make up your mind whether you like him or not. But as long as your friend is going out with him, it doesn't matter about whether u like him, because you would be one dirty person to mess around with your friend's guy. So for now, keep those feelings to yourself because he's taken, dear.

I wouldn't tell her. I would tell myself that I am confused because I do not know what I want. I like him, I don't like him, I like him, I don't like him. Are you picking daisy petals or something? If you are old enough to date, at least 16 in my opinion, then concentrate on someone who neither of you know so there will not be any confusion or competition. If your friend was first to come out with her feelings about this guy then you should back off. It's called backstabbing if you don't.

Eh... I'd forget about him. Your friendship is more important and both of you liking the guy will end, but you'll be friends for a long time, through many many guys coming and going. It might be hard to forget about the guy, but don't let either your friend or the guy know, cause that causes problems. yeaaah.

Find a different guy to like and leave this crush for your friend, new guys are easier to find than new friends.
