okay, ive been going out with a guy for almost a month but i never told my parents. I'm in highschool and haven't had a boyfriend before and my mom never talks to me about guys so I don't know how to go about telling her I have a boyfriend. She'll be happy about it I just don't know how or when to bring it up.

Tricky one as it is a bit embarrassing.
How about tossing it over your shoulder just as you go out of the door on a date? Spend an hour in the bathroom before going out and make a big fuss about what to wear?
Seriously tho', you could drop it in the conversation while watching a romantic movie together, because it would be easier to bring the conversation round to things like boys and dating.
Alternatively, leave her a note somewhere telling her about this boy. As a parent (I speak as one myself), she'll want to know how old he is, his name, where you met him, and if he is at school with you.
I think it's great you want to tell her, and shows you two have a good relationship. I hope everything goes well with your romance.

First ask her how she got a boyfriend or tell her that you want a boyfriend (Pretend you don't have one!) and then after a few days tell her that u finally got a boyfriend but be sure to be really happy when u say it

Just tell her, she'll be happy you brought it up to her instead of finding out on her own.

Tell your mom the truth. Tell her you'd like to have her meet him, and that he's someone special.

Just casually say that you met someone in school. See how she reacts, and if it's good, then gradually tell her more and more.

maybe you can just ask her how would she feel about you having a boyfriend and take it from there. or let her figure it out herself.
