My sister is two weeks late for her period. She took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. What are the chances that she is pregnant?

Very unlikely. Her period could be late for a number of reasons, including poor diet or stress. Periods can also be irregular when you're still developing.

Pregnancy tests are usually correct. Unless she's been feeling nauseous in the mornings, having a bloated tummy and tender, swollen breasts I'm sure she's not pregnant. Make sure she always uses protection next time - but i don't think you need me to tell you that! I hope everythings OK, take care x

she could be or it could just be stress. Thats the messed up thing about periods they come and go as they please. Stress and diet changes could be to blame though. If she thinks she could be though I would say to go to the dr and they will do a blood test and if she is pregnant then it will show up. Goodluck

tell her to go to the doctor and get a blood test. Its more acurate than a HPT

YOU SHOULD TAKE HER TO THE DOCTOR AND GET A TEST DONE THERE. HER HORMONES MY NOT BE THAT STRONG YET. YOU CAN ALSO JUST WAIT TWO MORE WEEKS AND TAKE ANOTHER HOME TEST.
