Does it seem like every little thing the refs or umpires do now they are criticized and booed? In a way is this bad sportsmanship? I know there has always been booing in sports but too much is too much, do you agree?

I think people are way too aggressive and disrespectful at these sort of events. The refs and umps are just doing their jobs. Why do people get so upset? If the call didn't upset them, it would obviously just upset someone rooting for the other team. How sad! I like to watch sports for the sake of watching sports. Yes, it's competitive - and that's part of the fun - but come on now people! We are all adults!

There's nothing wrong with booing bad calls. Just look at the refs in the NFL, it seems like they can't get any calls right, so of course they're going to get booed.

Booing is fine in pros and college games. And even high school. But there is no place for in in little league. I was a middle school basketball coach for 6 years and I never heard booing at one of our games.

Yes, too much is too much. It is definitely bad sportsmanship to do it for every call that is not for your team. Sometimes when the call is bad, they deserve it, but who can tell the difference when every call is booed by someone.

If it's with the other team they usually boo em but sometimes they just make really bad calls. I do agree with you though

no, there arnt booing on all calls.. only ones that are close ones.. that the fans got the crappy call. it isn't bad sportsmanship. it is supporting your team, and you're booing the ref, not players.

No because they are suppost to be professionals too and some of the calls they make give every reason to boo them!!

It depends on what the refs or umpires do. Like if they call a bad call.

I think the booing is fine - its the obsenities and trash talking that gets a bit ridiculous.
