Mr. Graham set up the world’s most controversial sperm bank known as the Repository for Germinal Choice.

If you don’t remember, Mr. Graham’s goal was to flood the world with geniuses. He thought the world was becoming populated with “retrograde humans.” So he decided to change that.

One problem with this is the burden of unreastic expectations that such a baby would suffer from.

This gene technology hype causes some people to confuse science fiction with reality and think we can create a copy of an existing human (cloning) or a human with pre-described properties (genetic engineering) but the talents and character a person develops depends on many non-genetic factors.

The gutters are lined with genius. It's not so much what one has to work with that guarantees success, but the willingness to give 100% in what we undertake. I'll take a great work ethic and a little above average over genius.

Have you ever seen Gattaca? Babies are meant to be as they are. If they turn into a genius later on, that's fine, but the idea of genetically engineered humans freaks me out.

babies are born geniuses.... ! (there is a movie by name 'Baby Geniuses'....)

i would like to create one if possible....knowing the responsibility it will thrust on me... first i need to assure myself that i can handle such a genius, from nurturing it to protecting it in all ways...if i am not sure, then rather i dont want to create one...

growing up with a baby genius will be a great learning experience for us.... and having more such babies, that know their commitments and responsibilities, is a very desirable thing for the world....

I would definetly just accept what God gives me naturally. IF humans are allowed to screen what types of babies they have threw genetic engineering, it would be a very sad day. End of diversity.
