i'm a cheerleader and i believe cheerleading is a sport but i cant just go with my opion so i want to know other peoples opions

No, Cheerleading isn't a sport. A sport is something you play like volleyball, football, tennis, soccer, baseball, you can't play cheerleading. It's a competition like gymnastics.

Yes cheerleading is a sport think about it people get hurt just like football and basketball, men are cheerleaders, you go to a camp, and it gets you fit. So yeah cheerleading is a sport. And don't listen to anyone else cause they don't know.

My Niece is a University of Miami cheerleader and it is definitely a sport! She is in unbelievable shape, works out all the time and does all the stunts. I t amazes me to see what they do and it takes hard work and dedication to excel at it just like any other sport.

Well lets see.When most people think of a "sport "they think of hard work , sweat , breathing hard , risk of injury and lots of effort. While golf ,darts ,ect . doesn't fall under those criteria and are still undeniably sports and freakin playing cards is getting sports channels coverage , I really don't see how anyone could even attempt to say you are not an athlete. And if you are and an athlete then in seem to me you participate in sport.

it might be. i mean people are considering poker a sport now. if fat old drugged out guys playing cards is a sport, then hot girls dancing around is too.

cheerledding is a sport dont listen to people to say its not!
