I would like to buy a PSP but I'm not sure if this handheld console worths its price. I've heard a rumor about a PSP2 and I'm not sure to wait for it.
Please advice!

You should buy the nintendo ds lite. The PSP doesn't have that many good games. It also takes a lot of time for the games to load.I have both the PSP and the Nintendo DS Lite. You will end up using it to watch movies and to listen to music. But if you have an Ipod you will end up hatting your psp.So just buy the Nintendo ds lite don't make the same mistake I made.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!
I have a PSP, bought it when it was release and I will say it looks nice, when it is TURNED OFF.
1. Be prepared to spend more money: Case, more memory, games, etc.
2. Some games are not worth buying. You may come cross 3-4 game worth buying GTA, Midnight Club, Wipeout to name ONLY a few.
3. If you want something to play music on BUY A MP3 PLAYER!!!!
Buying a PSP was a waste of money to me but, if you must have one wait til this winter. The PSP will go down to $150.
Try a DS, Heard good things about it.

Yeah, they are pretty sweet. I own one and it serves a lot of purposes. I have a gig of memory and have tons of music on it, so i use it as an mp3 player. When the music gets boring, delete, and get some new toons. If i'm really bored, I can jut throw in a game, and start playing. If i'm in the area of a wireless internet connection like "starbucks", you can surf the internet wireless. You can even put a bunch of photos on your memory, to change backgrounds on whatnot. It's pretty nice, Even though I bought it when it was new, and it is probably cheaper now, it's was worth every penny.
Af far as a rumor, usually **** is like 1-2 years away from a rumor. I would just get the PSP, I mean it serves a ton of purposes so I would go for it.

hmmm, i had a playstation 2 and i loved the slim one, but i would buy a psp or psp2 because they just gonna get ya hooked on it and then youre gonna wanna get the next psp coming out.. if its money youre worried about, stick with the playstation 2.. its still pretty good and thats all you really need.

i wouldn't pay that much for a handheld. if you really want a handheld i heard that nintendo ds are alot more fun. the graphics aren't as good but i guess the games are alot better.

I would suggest you wait. Usually the maker of Playstation and all of those make newer models. but if you really can't wait for that I would suggest you wait until it goes on sale or wait until it is not a "big" item. That will help cost wise.

I think you should buy 1 but idk if their coming out with a new 1 but psp is a good game console to buy.

there is no PSP 2.......trust me. i think the psp will fail due to being too advanced for its time....sorry!!
