Um...i think i know what you're talking about now....I wrote the stuff at the bottom before i realized what you might be talking about.

Are you talking about the lines that you see when using your camera to tape a computer or tv screen? If so, on a Canon, it is called ClearScan. You set your shutter speed to match that of the monitor or tv screen. Computer Monitors vary from about 70 Hz to 90 Hz and TV should be right around 60 (in the US). You access it by setting your camera to Shutter Priority, Manual, or Auto with Exposure lock on, and use your controls to raise the shutter speed until it goes to Clear Scan, noted by a CS. From there, you set the frequency in the menu.

Well, I know a little bit...but i don't know what you're after. If you're using your GL2 as a backward D/A converter, you will have latency issues. I have FCP, and there is a frame offset setting for this particuar issue.

If you're wondering about color correction, get a color corrector that you place on your screen and tell it to calibrate for television. That would be the best solution for that problem, although there is a built-in NTSC profile for your monitor.

If you're talking about interlacing, well, that's just a simple difference between the two video systems, which is why it is important to have a tv monitor (more than 1 if possible) to monitor your video.
