Okay first off intercourse is the loss of virginity... Youre hymen is already broken, it happens from horsebackriding, just normal things as you age. Blood doesnt signify virginity... I didnt lose my virginity young, but I still bled... sometimes I still do. Any female can bleed if she's stretched beyond whats shes use to and not be a virgin. Ive read most girls break there hymens around age 13...Thats why so many women were accused of adultery, when she didnt bleed on wedding night... the sheets wouldnt show any blood stains, so it impied she was not a virgin. Although you can still bleed from intercourse- all women are built differently, some are naturally tighter, plus kegal exercises.
That myth is simply that, an old myth. Loss of virginity is intercourse.... simply put. Thats why so many girls think its ok to do everything with 9383834 guys, but think theyre still "pure and not slutty"... lmao kind of ironic...
If I find an article I will post it for you.

It's purely academic. Traditionally, penetration has to occur in order for a female to lose her virginity. It used to be that women would get a few stitches to make them bleed on their wedding night to fool their partner into believing they were virgins. Fact of the matter is, few women make it to adulthood with their hymen intact, even if they are virgins. They often break it young in life horseback riding, bike riding, or simply by having a bad fall. They still bleed their first time, not because they've broken their hymen, which was already broken in a non-sex related activity, but because they are so nervous, they tighten all their muscles. I, myself, will bleed if I haven't had sex in a month or more, just because I'm a very small person.
I had a male friend once who truly believed that penetration could occur, but as long as he didn't orgasm, then he'd still be a virgin. Theoretically, as far as a man's concerned, wouldn't receiving oral sex end his virginity, since the act is the same no matter where it occurs? But then, traditional Roman Catholicism only considered vaginal penetration to be sex, which is part of the reason priests were long able to rationalize having anal sex with males (not necessarily boys). It's a definition that changes with society and the times.
So, I guess the answer is, if you struggle with the definition and virginity is something you prize, you should probably refrain from any sexual activity you aren't comfortable with, regardless of what anyone else thinks. Otherwise, you'll just feel guilty and bad about yourself afterwards.

Well scientifically around the world losing ones virginity is having never been peneetrated and having your hymen broken by the man you love and have married for thre first time and in the Orthodox Jewish religion their is even blood that must be shown on the wedding bed after the act to prove one's wife was truly a virgin.

Heck you might as well throw oral sex on there as well and handjobs too, petting or whatever you want to call it. Sex is sex penetration or not.
