How can anybody in there right mind support him?

Many people would agree with you. They'd say that because he committed U.S. troops to an 'un-winable' war that has cost over 2500 U.S. soldiers lives. More over, his approach to the war was weak. And because those troops were overseas, they were not able to participate in the evacuation of the victims of Hurricane Katrina. In addition, his sloopy approach to war, left the Afghanistan conflict unfinished and as a result, Osama Bin Laden is still on the loose and the Taliban is regaining its strength every day. The money spent on this war in Iraq, some $300-$500 billion dollars could have been spent shoring up the levies in New Orleans, airport and border security here at home, and invested in our nation's educational system, not to mention improved health care for the elderly. Bush has also wrecked the governmental infrastructure by approving a Department of Homeland Security which cost a half-million dollars and hasn't improved the efficiency of government at all ( aka Hurricane Katrina response) and by placing former private sector CEO's in top government positions, they are not as capable to run these agencies as those put in by the Clinton adminstration. President Bush has also refused to participate in the Kyoto Protocols, which work to help reduce global warming. This two-term president can be given credit, however, at leading us through the trying days after 9/11, in that his prescene rallied the people to a single cause of unity of spirit. He has also committed large sums of money to African countries suffering under with AIDS and AIDS-related diseases. (Some might argue that those monies favor those countries that promote abstinance and some Judeo-Christian values) I don't think that anyone should abe 'ashamed' at criticizing the president, but I think history will show that he's done more harm than good. Overall grade: D-

Well... how very grown up of you. You shouldn't be ashamed, but you don't have to be insulting either. I haven't lost my mind yet, and I support him. In fact, I think he's doing a very good job thank you.

Hello, if Bill cant-keep-it-in-his-pants Clinton didn't get arrested, shouldn't no president get arrested. George W. is doing the best he can...he has advisors and experts helping him. Should we have gotten into this mess, should we get out of it? I don't know, there is so much rhetoric, I don't know what to believe. I don't like war and I sure don't like our men and women dying over there, but we (yes me) voted for him and have to trust him to do the best for our country. (Unlike disgraceful WJC who only thought about his own selfish needs regardless of who it hurt.)

Bush is a semi-retarded functional illiterate who doesn't have the brains God gave a goose. Let's just hope he doesn't push the button and blow us all to hell and back before he leaves office in January, 2009.

Well if GW was another pres from another country he would be charged with war crimes just like Saddam. He is a hypocrite who cannot justify anything he does. He is a war-monger who has only 2 years left in his tenure... Thank God. I hope the GOP loses their hold on congress in November. EVERYONE VOTE DEMOCRAT... they are definitely the lesser of the two evils!!
