They're not hiding anything. Secret's out- it's just a military base. You can even search for aerial photos of Area 51.

Area 51 is a part of the Nellis AFB "Red Flag" testing area. Way back in the 50's they tested stealth technology there, i.e. the SR-71 and B-2 bomber. The area was selected because of its remote access and the unpredictability of where bombs were going to be dropped when Nellis is holding their quarterly exercises. Today, Area 51 is still an active military base, but everything is located underground, therefore more pictures are available for people to see. What actually goes on there is up to speculation, however whatever it is they don't want people to know. Very few people actually know what goes on there, and those that do are not talking for fear of reprimand or disappearing. Personally, I don't want to speculate what could be going on there...too many people monitoring the web :-)

How many times have you seen a Spirit B2 Stealth Bomber? Well its service date was 1997 and it is still in commission. That is almost 10 years ago. And the B2 is still farily secret.
Well, whatever prototype aircraft are being developed and tested now will probably be in area 51. There are experimental aircraft in area 51. They are SECRET experimental aircraft. That is why the government is hiding it from us and from our enemies. It is not UFO's and aliens....Shhhh.
The truth is out there.....

I think they are hiding something and they dont want us to go in a panic if we find out what it is. thats why we cant go in there.

People are allowed their the only stipulation is you need security clearance. They are hiding alien life forms and ufo's...
