I need a costume that I can wear to take my son out trick-or-treating, and then be able to wear to a gay club with some friends. I'm not gay, but we're going with a gay guy who will be in drag. It can't be too risque since I'm wearing it to take my son out first. Any ideas?

What you could do is essentially have a costume within a costume. Such as you could dress up as a nurse or nun for your son when your take him trick or treating and then for the gay bar, just have parts of the nurse costume change (such as having a short skirt hidden underneath a longer one, add a quick bit of extra make up, etc.), and viola you went from nice PG nurse to Naughty nurse.
Personally though, you could go as just about anything for a gay bar, I've seen a great assortment of costumes in them, most of which aren't risque at all. (Unless you count the one person dressed as the Oscar Award...that was pretty risque.)

You can pick something simple like dressing like a cat (wear all tight black) cause this way you could go out trick or treating then sexify the costume up afterwards like wear some sexy boots and lots of makeup.
