If the ring is gold, silver or platinum it may be able to be enlarged by stretching up to one size, for anything larger, by cutting the band and soldering in a small piece of like metal. A good jewelry craftsman can do either without it being at all noticable. The latter is more expensive but is the best way to enlarge a ring.

Yes. It is easier to get a gold ring enlarged. Some jewelers don't like to work with silver.

go to a gold smith where they do it on there own.The jewery stores send them out to be done ans alot of times they come out thinner on the bottom .The goldsmith is cheaper and does a better job .If you want ask and see if they can add a little gold on the bottom .Sometimes when you have them enlarged the botton end up thin.
