I am gay and I used to be a republican...
I switched to independent in 2002 then to democrat in 2000.
There were many reasons but I can tell you that the reason I will never vote for a republican in any office anywhere ever again, is because they have basically declared war on me because I am different than the norm.
When I was a republican, it was something I could over look for other issues. State republicans have crossed the line with state laws banning gay marriage. And now, the Republicans have gone too far with their attempt to alter the constitution in order to discriminate against me.
That is unacceptable and I declare war right back at them.

That's because the Democrats don't discriminate against people because of their sexual orientation. Republicans on the other hand think its a sin to be gay and the head gay-basher, Dubya the Retard, even wants a Constitutional amendment saying that marriage should only be between a man and a woman. What an ******!!!

Because the Republicans are against them and would introduce discriminatory legislation against them - they'd be insane to vote republican. Which is why most poor people and minorities are also Democrat - the Republicans only serve the interests of the rich

The democrats are the party of inclusion, we do not discriminate because of a persons sexual orientation. Answer this question. If god is almighty and is against homosexuals, why would he make people that preferred people of their own sex?
