ok, at schools there is this group of friends that is really big. I am in it. Except that I, unlike the others, dont have my own personal best friend. ive tried, but everyone else has known eachother since kindergarden and I started last year. I'm not raccist, but there is a limited amount of nice white girls at my school, and everytime I make my own personal best friend, they leave me for a popular snob. Ive tried being myself and being a good friend, but I am all by myself.

Just keep trying.
Maybe being with this big group of friends isn't what is right for you. Maybe you need to be with a smaller group of friends.
Don't limit yourself to certain people or anything.
And you can have a best friend or just a friend that isn't even in the same grade as you.
Don't limit yourself and keep trying.
I'm sure you'll find a best friend soon.

well if your own personal best friend would leave stop being your friend so that they could be friends with someone popular, they weren't truly your friend to start with, and they are just shallow . . . I would suggest just being yourself . . and don't try so hard to make friends . . .

try to make friends with the people (nerds, "freaks" etc.) you usually see sitting alone at lunch. usually they are really nice people. if ur big group of friends can't accept them into the group, they probably shouldn't be your friends.

I UNDERSTAND THE NEED FOR BEST FRIENDS.BUT YOU ARE YOUNG AND IN TIME YOU WILL REALIZE ITS NOT ALL ITS CRACKED OUT TO BE.TO BE ABLE TO HAVE A FRIEND WHO WOULD BE YOUR BEST FRIEND YOU HAVE TO SHOW INDEPENDENCE.YOU HAVE TO BE INDEPENDENT OF THE GROUP.INDEPENDENCE BREEDS CONFIDENCE AND CONFIDENCE ATTRACTS OTHERS TO U
