i have been using threading to remove facial hairs but one of my frnds told me tht threading makes the skin hard so instead i tried to use wax strips, i have used them around 3 or 4 times, but the problem is tht it doesnt remove the hair completely and also its making my skin black, i have only used it on chin n now that whole area has turned a dark color. now i donno whether to use threading or waxing, can anyone help???

Go back to threading!!!
Threading is MUCH better for your skin than waxing is. Waxing can actually scar or pigment your skin if not done the right way. If you are using any antibiotics, AHA's or retin-A, the skin becomes "weaker" and the top layers of skin will come off traumatizing your skin.
Threading, on the other hand, does not harm the skin at all. It is exactly like tweezing, only faster.
The darkness on your chin is probably from pigmentation, especially if you are of a darker complexion. Unfortunately it is very difficult to change. You want to use a skin lightener to lighten up the pigmentation, and remember your sunscreen! EVERY DAY, otherwise you will be wasting your money on the lightener. I strongly recommend visiting an esthetician or dermatologist to confirm my suspicions, and to help you find a lightener that works for your particular need.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
