In RAID-5 after failing one HDD in IBM server should we remove that one in switch on or off condition ?

Raid 5 are usually hot swappable so removing it with the system on is not a problem.

Better 1st read the Server Manual, generally it is hot swapable.
After replacing it place same kind of disk with at least same amount of free storage area that other RAID-5 members are using - and reactivate the disk.
