I hate racial slurs, I do fight back and yes all racists, sexists, homophobes and other haters are evil.

If you're talking about the lobbyist-paid SCUM who try to break up meetings, the next thing those ratbast*rds will be getting is baseball bats and crowbars. Their ethnicity doesn't matter to us a whit, nor does their politics. But their manners are about to backfire on them and the revolting turds who organize and pay the soulless scum maggot weasels. "Redneck" is a political term. Your strange, convoluted and very twisted dementia/delusion about what you think is entitlement/welfare/affirmative action is a completely unrelated, unproved but equally bizarre RANT of the lowest and most loathsome order. When I worked "in the system", in a community about 60% white, 85% of my clients were white. Your points on the Firefighter case are somewhat valid, and well taken, but you'll notice: the courts caught the inequities, ultimately. You'd probably be startled, if you read the legislation, how very, very few institutions are under any compulsion to conform to "affirmative action", and how those under specific orders to do so usually have a century or more history of active discrimination, and in some cases, actual major crimes. But Limbaugh, Beck, and the imbecile Hannity aren't going to tell you that; they're too busy spreading hatred! The implications of slavery are, by the way, still with us. I notice very few people have much background on that period. And even fewer know much about what actually happened in the South from 1865 to about 1970, which is AMAZING. Notice all the racists are now Republicans and reactionary "conservatives", and the old link to the SOUTHERN Democrats and anti-black movements ended almost forty years ago, completely. Byrd, for example, not only explained his affiliations long ago, apologized, and has acted in a most equitable manner, but has had nothing to do with that whole movement for sixty years. In short, one end of the spectrum cleaned up, the other is still spewing hatred. You think Limbaugh is "fair"? Forget that! Sorry, pal. Your presumptions aren't just off base, they are absurd.

I never make racist comments. I also try EXTREMELY hard not to generalize, ever. I dislike it to the point of putting a rant up for an answer...lol the rants probably aren't read but it makes me feel better. I fight back with bad thumbs, angry comments, and if it's really really bad then I report it. I try to avoid reporting because it's irritating and silly for the most part, but sometimes it has to be done. They are not evil, simply misguided, and/or ignorant, or trying to be funny. Occasionaly I respond to the ones that are trying to be funny...the ones that aren't meant to hurt.

Racists are ignorant. No, I don't use racial slurs, and I tell people who use them around me that I don't like that kind of language, or racial jokes. I fight back by trying my best to love my neighbor.

I usually stay away from offensive words like the n work or that name some people call white people that has saltine before it. When someone does that to me, I don't and won't stoop to their level, because that makes me just as bad.

Most people will deny they do. I do once in a while regardless of race and i don't think I am evil, just human.

My one simple rule:

RESPECT ME AND I SHALL RESPECT YOU.

I feel that I am good to all, but at the same time I'm not going to let you disrespect me.
I am quick to put you in your place.

you ignore them. the only reason they are said is to get a reaction. it really pisses them off. those people are ignorant. not neccesarily evil.
