stumbled from a relationships,financial problems and so forth. Is it simply rude or envious?

Basically, small people resent success in others. The higher one climbs in life, the more people will stand in line to watch the downfall. Small minds inhabit small worlds.

Some people just can't stand to see others get ahead. It is a sign of insecurity. not of friendship.

I guess it makes them feel better to see someone doing worse then they are. Its selfish and dumb. I dont think its wrong to feel that way but it is wrong to show it.

those people are horrible. I hate it when my friends are in a rut. It bothers me to no end.
