Fearless has the billing of being Jet Li's final true martial arts film. Though he will continue to do action films, martial arts on the level seen in films like Tai Chi Master, Martial Arts of Shaolin, and the Once upon a Time In China series are starting to become very taxing as Jet Li closes in on becoming 50 years old. He also states that he has succeeded in accomplishing all he wishes to do in the martial arts genre, and doesn't feel a need to push himself by this point.

He announced that he will not be doing anymore true martial arts theme Movies......this doesn't exclude him from doing action Movies where he uses his talents for making his presence known!! He wants to continue to do more roles that are based off the Modern times more than the Old.....he is also working on other Video games with martial arts like Rise to Honor!!!
