3 years is not a big age difference. Just let them get the chance to know him and they will change. My mom was 18 and my dad was 23 when they got married, and they have been married for 46 years now.

I was 23 when I met my wife and she was 18 and a freshmen in college. I was a junior and her parents were skeptical at first but now they love me. As long as he is respectful towards you and shows respect towards your parents then there isn't anything wrong with it.

Whatever you do don't let your parents control you because they support you. You are an adult now and being in college you should be learning to make your own choices and become more independent.

Good Luck

I think your parents are right and they are just trying to protect you . If you really like him don't rush anything take time to get to know him just as a friend. And if he really really likes you he will respect your decision, and would not want to cause problems between you and your parents

geez they insulted you about it? I think its best to keep it quiet until you actually have something going with him. education is far more important than a man... so just know that he is going to have to wait.
