I love your question(s) but I despise the evil, cowardly, stalking sociopath who is cheating all the rates and votes in this hellhole. What is wrong with this place and the morons who run it? Unbefuckinglievable....
Anyway, in answer to your question(s), Moonriver... I believe our proud young Buffalo Sabres are in great shape! The only way to improve this team is to add a little more size and strength on the forward lines (without taking away from the speed and skill) and maybe to add another physical defenseman for depth. Otherwise, we're all set for our first Stanley Cup!
As for your follow-up questions: The new jerseys are going to take some getting used to. The slug logo is terrible and there's no getting around that... Pre-season doesn't count for much because it's mainly a time to see younger players who may crack the lineup... I expect the season ahead to be successful like last season but with a happier ending -- the Stanley Cup!
I'm very excited to have hockey starting in just over two weeks and will root hard for my Buffalo Sabres, as always. Thanks for asking!

I would'nt change a thing about this team, they are amazing!!
I think they might start off a little shakey in the pre-season, but then bounce back.
I actually like the new jerseys, they're different, but the colors are great and they just need some getting used to. But it doesn't matter what they look like, they're still going to be awesome.
I can NOT wait until the season starts...

I'm undecided on the new jersey.
I don't expect much out of the pre-season.
I think in the regular season they are going to be quite good.
I am absolutely THRILLED that the season is getting ready to start--it's been a long summer!

Not a fan of the team but if I could do anything to improve the team I would have made them leave the logo alone, or go back to one of the older ones.

I still think Connolly is faking his concussion symptoms to keep your team under the salary cap. Every one knows you are in cap trouble after all those arbitration cases.
