We are what is called cyber friends. We do not try to scam each other or others and we can be honest about how we feel about how we answer. We learn to recognize each other on here. We don't always have to agree with each other about everything. You say how can we call someone a friend without knowing each other. I say maybe we do know each other here more than you think in some cases. I just thought of something! The few qualities I have just spoke about only spells one thing,FRIEND.

Its not possible to consider that ..unless the two of you have had long extensive and extremely truthful conversations.....you have to know some honest , real things about and individual and also feel comfortable to tell that person some things about yourself in order for some sort of friendship with some substance to be established....ALL relationships have to be based on real communication ....if there is a breakdown in communication then i can guarantee that what ever relationship it is will eventually cease to exist.

I think it's entirely possible to form friendships without actually meeting. I believe you can 'get to know' people fairly well through correspondence.

I would consider you a friend - or at least someone I'd like to get to know better!

Well you can have friends that you chat with that you really don't know all that well. I've made a lot of friends on this space and I don't know them but it's fun to chat with them and call them my Yahoo Friends.

People are full of surprises but I think the term friend is misused. Acquaintance is the right term.

Well I do find that somewhat silly, I find it even worse when you have people saying things like "that's my Internet mom/sister/brother".

It's possible because no one ever 100% knows anyone.
