How many times a day are bean plants supposed to be watered?

You need to give them a very thorough watering early in the morning before the sun has a chance to scorch plants. Never water in evening/night because the water will stay on plants overnight and cause bacteria/fungal growth on plants.

Once they're up and running I never water. I let Mother Nature do it. I've had fine results. No need to obsess over a vegetable garden.

Once a day is quites sufficient
