yep its true.

happened when steve williams was wrestling as stunning steve austin in WCW, hogan had pretty much taken control of the company and basically rubbished austin saying that a guy in plain black trunks and black boots couldnt draw a single penny. As a result bishoff released him and following a short but memorable stint in ECW, he was signed up by vince and after a wobbly start as the ringmaster, became the biggest draw of the 90's with the stone cold character.

This feud is still running behind the scenes today, at the hall of fame ceremony before this years 'mania, austin and the hitman verbally tore hogan a new one. the fake mostached fool wasnt happy!

Hogan has been pushing a for a top line match against austin for ages but with hogans demands that he goes over in the match, i cant see it happening any time soon.

"Stunning" Steve Austin was making his way up the ladder. He held the TV title for about 18 months. I think he won the US title soon afterwards. He was getting ready to be the man. He was tje number 2 heel in the company behind Rick Rude. Then Hogan came along in 1994 and did his thing, and said that Austin would not amount to anything. Steve teamed up with Brian Pillman to become the Hollywood Blondes if I remember correctly. They were the most hated team in WCW.

Hogan is very negative and that's when Steve Austin was known as the Hollywood Blonde.

Yes, it's true, back in the early 90's when Erick Bischoff started WCW.

Everyone is lesser than Hogan in his view. That's why the WWE can't hire him to wrestle a match anymore unless he wins!

They were two rival companies. WCW and Eric Bischoff went so far as to tell who won the matches at WWFevents when they were suppose to be live. That's the entertainment business.
