mine was more pornographic than what you see on tv, i used to love the girl in my study hall, she'd take 2 guys at a time to the bathroom to blow us. there was a party every weekend. i used to smoke weed outside right before lunch everyday. i guess there was less drama than on tv.

My high school was nothing like Laugna Beac or the OC. I went to a small school in southern Illinois. My graduating class had a little more than 100 people. Nobody got a brand new car when they turned 16, the in-style clothes were not juicy couture it was more like guess jeans and nike tennis shoes, and pretty much everyone had a job when they turned 16 because our parents didn't make millions and we had to pay a car payment and insurance if we wanted to drive, and the money from working at a local Dairy Queen or Burger King was used for gas money and extras like going to a movie or a new lipstick we thought we needed. I guess, in retrospect, all of this was good for us because we didn't grow up expecting everything to be given us and it gave us a great appreciation for things when we did get them :-)

It was a large building on south State Street in Sandy Utah, you know where Elizabeth Smart lived, and was kidnapped from her home. The name of the High School, was at the time Jordan High. I was the smallest girl un-developed and all the other kid's looked grown up. I felt like i should have been in grade school next to the other kid's. JFK was assassinated while I was in history class. The news came over the intercom, we were all moved to the gym..And then we heard Walter Cronkite give the news of the presidents death.

My high school is very different than those in television shows such as The OC. There, every student drives a Mercedes, or Range Rover, and stuff like that. There are some students who do drive Mercedes at my school. Then there's the student lounge where they have coffee and arcade games. My school doesn't have that.

Definitely not! My school is completely different. I don't think we have prom nights, other than the regular graduation ceremony; we have a lot more ethnic diversity; there's no carnival or whatever, just a play day that no one ever goes to. Our teachers also aren't the kind who will allow students to misbehave (i.e. talk in class, etc.), nor do any of us break the rules so much that we have long detentions.

It was fine until i arrived. jk.
Some shows on t.v. i can relate to when i was in highschool. But not alot. No show is really protrayed as it happens in real life unless based on a true story.
Take care.

Yes & no we partied alot, but I think I got most of my education in my 4 years of H.S. Another plus for me was my graduating class in 1979 was only 56 students.
