For tomboys and boys and me I think socks should be worn pulled down, not showing. Especially when wearing shorts. It looks nicer. And sometimes your socks don't match your clothes. Looks nicer oulled down.

No, if you must wear socks with shorts then they should be trainer socks and should never be seen. Bet you wear them with sandals too.
