This is definately JUNK-when you respond to them they will ask you for your bank account number and routing number to transfer their money to you and what they will really do is rob you blind by taking your money from you with the information you provided. This scam has been going around in different ways in the name of different people for over 8 years that I know of. Reporting it was the best thing you could have done as Yahoo allows any and everyone to sign on to their site from anywhere so when you get email or IM from anyone you really dont have any idea where or who they really are. One of the biggest scams now are men professing their love for women out there-then having to go to Africa to work and having their money stolen from their hotel rooms and then needing you to send them money to help them promising to pay you back. NEVER trust anyone you do not personally know and deal with!

Do NOT reply, ever.
It is a very old scam, well documented, and called "The Nigerian Scam". People have lost huge amounts of money with it (by greed for a quick buck).
You can report it to the FBI, under the Nigerian Scam Fraud: they have a section just for it!

It's a hoax.. Nobody gives away free money via email.. You haven't won the South African state lottery either, nor has some oil magnet in Nigeria appointed you to receive funds on their account..

Do you really have to ask if this is a scam? Good Lord. How can you have any doubt? Delete this mess as soon as possible.
