My PC came with a free 6 month trial scheduled to expire within a couple of days.
I decided to try the "Basic Dial-UP" for $10.00 per month and to be billed for it. When I checked my account it said the following:
Pending Plan: AOL Basic Dial-up

Effective Date: 18 September

AOL Membership Fee: $25.90 /month
Price Plan: $25.90 AOL Dial-Up Advantage
Billing Date: 18 September
MY MAIN QUESTION is if you have a plan from AOL, are you charged a membership fee in addition to your plan? Or is your plan all you pay?

Dump AOL fast! Forget the free months. They are the worst Internet provider around. I pay $29.00 a month for the fastest DSL from Verizon. There are tons of dial up services if you want to go that route. AOL is total crap.
