I am gay and believe I am actually both and have been called a lot worse, but do you think in our culture there really is a difference???? I just gotta know....please, please....tell me now and I won't ask again!

Ima lesbian and we are called "dykes". I don't consider them the same and you shouldn't consider or let a straight person consider it the same. It is a diss. I am BLACK/AFRICAN AMERICAN but some people of other ethnicities refer to us as "*******"...as a diss. "Dykes" and "fags" are the same as "******". Do you get what I am sayin. Never let anyone say that it is the same cuz it isn't. You are gay/homosexual. I am a lesbian and I don't let that make my identity as a whole. I am so many other things.
I am a provider...
I am a parent...
I am a wife...
I am a sister...
I am a daughter...
I am a friend...
I am a smart human being with other things and or qualities beside being lesbian.
These are downgrades created by straight homophobes used to hurt us because they are not content with themselves because true straight people who are decent at heart will not call you a 'fag" or call me a "dyke". Not that I care anyway...I'm content in who I am and my life.

a fag is a bundle of sticks used to kindle a fire. It is also the term in England for a cigarette. A homosexual is one who prefers their sexual partner/life mate to be of the same sex. Homosexuality exists throughout nature in just about every species.

if your in Europe than a fag is a cigarette and a homosexual is gay.
Here however in the good old US of A a fag is limp wrist ed and a homo is just someone who prefers same sexual partner i.e guy guy girl girl
