If I were a great person from the past, I wouldn't dare glimpse at the world of today, for I would be most appalled and it would be rather a revolting spectacle. If we all heard what great people from the past had to say, we would all (or should be) ashamed of ourselves and the world we let encompass us everyday. Then again, knowing the world of now, we'd all probably ignore them and kill them.

They would be overwhelmed at the amount of information we have available to us. Most clowns on here do not use it, but just parrot other people. They would be scared of Jet Planes, Cars, Television. They would marvel at what we have. Even the poorest people have cars and TVs/ They would wonder why people make such a big deal about things, then do nothing but piss and moan about it.

You don't have to go to the past to find what the GREATEST one who ever lived said about any important [to God] topic; it's as close as the nearest King James Version!:

John 18:20 (A-KJV)

Jesus answered him [the high priest], I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.

John 18:31-37

Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death: That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die. Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?
Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me? Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done? Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

John 16:33

These things I [Jesus] have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
