With gay marriage being accepted more and more, gay people should have to get licenses. This will cut down on tax fraud committed by hetero same sexed citizens co-habitating and claiming each other as dependants on tax returns.

Modern legal marriage should be available to all people. If you've got a roommate that you plan to be living with in the long term, you should be allowed to marry that person. I don't see why romantic love (an intangible, non-proveable EMOTION) or a person's sex life should have anything to do with that.

Firstly, are "gay" people as you call it, are they allowed to marry? I don't think so. So whilst gay marriage may be more talked about, gay and lesbian people still do not have the same rights as hetrosexual identified people. Also licenced for what?
