Washing machine needs to be cleaned periodically as it traps lint and dirts. Use a mixture of baking soda and detergent and select rinse program. To remove the grease stain try soaking your laundry in warm water mixed with color safe bleach.

It's probably your fabric softener sitting on the garment, leaving a oily stain. Try diluting the softener in the Downy ball, with water.

If it is actually grease on your clothes, use a little bit of "Simple Green" degreaser in your wash. It works great.
