Yes, it would certainly chase the bugs out, but they will only return if you don't use something made especially for bugs. Have a pest control fumigate the house for you. It's guaranteed to work and they are responsible if it does not.

There is no safe way to have a house full of carbon monoxide without danger of killing people near it, look for another solution.

No. Who says bugs need oxygen in order to stay alive?
And besides, unless you work for an industrial gas company, you couldn't obtain the quantities needed to get the concentration high enough to kill everything.

there are pesticides you can use indoors with a sprayer which are a lot safer let alone cheaper.better than making everything in the house poisonous.
