It's from the 80's. By a band called Simple Minds. It was also on the Breakfast Club soundtrack.

Is it a country song or was it an older song because the one im thinking of is the Carrie Underwood song well maybe typing it in like kazaa or morpheus downloads once u type it in it should bring up a list of artists maybe once u see the name u may recognize it good luck
