I met this guy at a friend's party. He's 26 and i'm 18. Neway, i've been having a really rough time in my life right now. (He doesn't know that) He just broke up with his frist serious gf. When he 1st wanted to hang out with me, I thought it was weired and I thought he just wanted to use me. However, he has been very nice and i can usually tell if a guy JUST wants to get in your pants. The problem is everytime i see and talk to him i just can't help but think about having sex with him. I know i'll regret this b/c we are both vulnerable right now and wouldn'y be making clear decisions, plus i like him more then a **** buddy (as a real friend) besides if things didn't work out it,would be awkward next time we were around our mutual friend. My q is what shoudl i do? Shoudl i not see him for a while, until these sexual feelings pass? Or should i just tell him that i'm vulnerable and if i make a pass at him to ignore it? idw 2 end the friendship cuz he really is nicer to me then most ppl.

Are your feeling stemming from hormones or real love? My guess would be hormones - because you are a virgin and have already stated that you know you will regret hopping in the sack with him. Take a cold shower - and concentrate on the friendship. If it is meant to develop into something more intimate - then so be it. Make sure before you give it up, that your heart tells you he is the right one.

I think it's best to come clean with him and tell him that you're vulnerable right now and you cannot be trusted if you make a pass. Let him know that you think a lot of him and that you see him as a 'keeper' as a friend or for more later.
He'll respect you even more, and if you two do end up in the sack, it won't be the devastating problem it could have been, since you 'fessed up in the first place.

If you are a virgin you dont want to lose it to some guy that you are gonna regret having been with. If you waited this long it wont hurt to wait a little longer and that SPECIAL some one will come along. You wont have any regrets if you wait.

You answered your own question. You said you know you will regret it. So avoid him until you're in a better space. That's also a big age difference and another reason to take some time away from him.

well if your having regrets and second thoughts about this then you aren't ready no matter how horny u may b right now b/c in the end u really will regret it and would have wished u could take it all back, so don't do it if ur not sure.

I find it difficult to believe that you're a virgin. But whether you're virgin or not is even NOT the bone of contention here. My advice to you is that: since your mind is telling you that if you have sex with him, you'll live to regret it, why would you like to dare your own mind. Please think about this.
