It depends if the child support goes through the courts or a child support service.If you go through a child support serve you can have it reviewed if it has been two years since amount was set.

You have your attorney re-open your divorce and ask the court to modify child support based on new income and standard guidelines.

You try NOT to do that!!! Maybe ask for a little more time, meanwhile you look for a second job or some way to come up with their set amount.
