I have this discomfort under my right ribcage, which feels like it could be a pulled muscle or muscles. It is very sore to touch and feels swollen and puffy. I don't know what could be causing it other than carrying heavy bags 4 tenths of a mile with my right hand and arm. I have had problems with my right breast, under the breast, the side near my arm pit around into my back under my shoulder blades and in my upper right arm and than just the other day it went down under my ribcage in my stomach. It feels bloated and swollen. The only thing I can think of is I really strained muscles carrying heavy groceries and reaching, or / and could it have anything to do with gas, acid reflux? I just hope it goes away soon. I got relief in my right breast from the muscle discomfort wearing a supportive bra but there are times not wearing one brings relief and lessens the strong discomfort under my breast and ribcage.

sounds more like some sort of infection. i have carried heavy groceries before, and i am sure you have too, and have never ended up with anything like that. i suggest you seek medical attention.

It could be air bubbles ,but from your description it might be fibrocystics breast disease. FBD is pains causes pain breast and lower part of your back. when the pain gets the worst is closed to that time of the month. One way to check for fibrocystics breast disease is the same as breast cancer. The only difference is if you feel several small lumps it is most likely FBD. You will still want to see a doctor even if you feel several small lumps. FBD is similar to Fybromyalgia, which is arthritis of the muscles.

Sounds like a pulled muscle given when you wear a sports bra the pain in your chest is better. If you are worried about it see your GP/Physician you might have a fractured rib.
