Do you know for certain it was one of them?
If so, confront the one you suspect and tell him if he doesn't return the cash now, you are calling the cops on him.

If you do not know, kiss the money good-bye and learn from your mistake.

Are you SURE you had the $250 before hand? If you are, confront them - tell them that you know the money was there before they came over and now it's gone. If they deny it tell them you're calling the cops and you will give them your brother and cousin's names as the leading suspects.

You will probably be out the $250. There's not much you can do about it. On the other hand, all relationships are based on trust, and once you stop trusting them I think the relationship is gone. I wouldn't care if it was a brother or cousin, I would end contact with both of them. Maybe the one who's innocent will convince the other to confess. Who knows, maybe there's a valid reason and you would have lent the money? But if no one confesses, never let them into your room or home again. That's me.

Pretty much had to be, right? Keep valuables in a safe place, but "friends" and relatives WILL steal, especially if drugs are in any way involved.
