Are even in the same league of the Nazi camps? That is just stupid if people believe that. Jews were tortured and killed, for being alive. Terrorists are being tortured because they kill innocent civilians, and in order to gain knowledge. Nazi camps were only providing knowledge to scientists on the limitations of the human body's limit.

coraygraph, you have got to be kidding me. That does not happen as much as you think and I highly, highly doubt people like that are not tortured but rather question while psychologists, observe them to see if they are decieving, yes psychologists do this and are very efficient. Of course, if they go straight to the torture, then there is something wrong, but I have not seen, or heard anything about that.

When 45% of those polled believe that Bush was responsible for 9/11, I'd say that we have so dumbed-down this country that just about anything is believable.
BTW, for those who agree with John McCain that loud music will ultimately cause harm to any of our captured soldiers, I'd like to point out that N. Vietnam didn't pay a lot of attention to the Geneva Convention after the right "honorable" had crashed his jet. To put it simply, bad people do bad things, regardless of how loud we sing kumbaya.

Bush believes he has not lost the high moral ground because his policies sub-contract the dirty work out to private jailing torturing companies.
The irony of taking over a country by force, to point a gun at them and say "Vote or die", as if this is the right way to try to influence the middle east into being more democratic. Add the illegal detention and torture of unarmed civilians who are suspected of being linked to "terrorist", and our war on terror starts to closely resemble the catholic church's war on witchcraft in the middle ages.
Once detained you are assumed guilty. You are tortured until you admit to such. You are further tortured to reveal your cohorts. Then you are killed and dumped in the streets of Baghdad, chalked up as another insurgent victim.
The Nazi's were very bad people, granted. This is very bad policy. Which is worse is not an issue.

Yes Red Hot Chilli Peppers is torture haha
Not to mention the Club Gitmo members gain an average of 8 pounds. Look at the weather forcast for Gitmo compared to Iraq or Afghan. They get a free prayer rug and a Koran or any other holy book for free to worship the god of their choice.
Sounds cozy.

Can we get something clear here ?
The people who are being interogated are being held in their own countries or in a country they commited terrorist acts in . They fall under those countries laws , not ours .
In some of those places , the pulling out of finger nails ect is an accepted practice .
Those actually held by us come under our laws and those laws
frown on torture and mistreatment .
Who needs a red hot poker when you have "babble juice " ?

Who is to say they are actually terrorists? Why should we believe that they are terrorists? They have lied to us over and over and over, so when they say terrorist I dont believe it. I mean seriously if thats justified than so were nazi experiments on the human body.Where does it end? Where do you draw the line? How do they prove this person is a terrorist? You cant know for certain, they seem to just round up anyone who looks arab and terrorize them until they make up what they think their prison keepers want to hear. Its horrible.

Bush is a an idiot. Well he already had made legal torture chambers in Iraq, where the Americans soldiers torture thousands of poor, help-less and defence-less Iraqis.
The Nazi Germany was not at all Evil. They were good guys. The USA is the real criminal.

Good question.
There are two groups of people who are mad because they think Bush is unkind to terrorists:
1. Foreign America Haters
2. Liberals.
They both care about the terrorists.

I agree with this. I dont care if we keep terroists awake for weeks, keep them cold, beat them, starve them for a few days... whatever. It still doesnt COMPARE to the deaths our POW's endure in prisoner camps.
Terrorists torture to kill and spread fear in the hearts of those around them. We torture to prevent the deaths of more innocent people.
